The INTO THE FOREST family consists of PAPA, NANA and WITCHY. They are designed to sit on a shelf, chair or your creative seating. Seated they measure 10” from seat to cap top—with an overall height off 18”. Steel buckshot is in their bottoms for stability—no lead bottoms in this family!

The hands and faces are needle sculpted of muslin. Each face is a bit different--some sport double chins, pointy chins, others have exaggerated noses, some are rather cute—then again—some are not! They are jointed at the hip and shoulder and have wired arms and fingers.Swarovski faceted crystals are used for their eyes—just peeking out from under felted knitted wool caps. Hair made from New Zealand mohair. Bodies and clothes are bright colors of Christmas, woods, French provincial and Halloween for WITCHY, of course. Pointy felted slippers complete the look!

They all have baskets filled with mushrooms, feathers, a parchment scroll and a very wise owl. Each has a lantern to light their way through the forest. Riding on the lantern is a ladybug. Adornments are charms, embroidery stitches, vintage/glass/woodsy buttons, magic key and a faceted crystal ball. Over one ear is a red bird for PAPA and NANA, and a black raven for WITCHY.

WITCHY carries a magic broom for soaring. Her trusty frog is not with her on this trip---Something about being at home “in the soup”!
